| Do you use harsh commercial chemicals on my car ? No, I only use car specific cleaning agents that have been extensively developed to do the job in hand very well without damaging the surface. For example alloy wheels are cleaned with non-acidic wheel cleaner, paintwork is washed with ph neutral shampoo, polishes are all professional grade non-silicone, wax from the best manufacturers in the world literally costing thousands of pounds | ||
| Is Auto Detox a franchise No, I started Auto Detox on my own from the ground up, have no ties to any chemical manufacturers so can take the pick of the best products from all the top detailing, chemical & wax companies. | ||
| What if the weather is bad ? If you do not have cover or there is not enough space in your garage for me to work I will give your booking priority & move it for you to the nearest convenient date | ||
| Why do you take a deposit ? A deposit of 50 pounds per day is required at the time of booking. If you cancel within 7 days of your booking this is non-refundable. If you need to move the booking before this time period I am more than happy to find an alternative & convenient date for you | ||
| Are you mobile ? Yes, I come to you to carry out the work, all I need is a socket to plug my extension lead into | ||
| What areas do you cover ? I cover the whole of the UK & Europe, I even have a base in Switzerland I can work from. I can arrange travel & accomodation near you no matter where you are for as long as is required | ||
| What are swirl marks ? Swirl marks are many many fine scratches robbing the paintwork of shine & clarity which are mainly inflicted by improper washing and drying methods, most commonly caused by sponges when washing & chamois leathers when drying. | ||
