BMW M3 Gtechniq Premier New Car Detail This beautiful sapphire black BMW M3 came to me from a returning client whos BMW M4 I detailed as a new car roughly 2 years ago. He had no hesitation returning & opting for my top new car detail a Premier new car detail,  for his new purchase which is carried out over 3 days. This includes exterior detail with multi stage machine polising routine, interior detail including leather treatment, engine bay detail, the works ! There is also an option to have the alloys taken off for full ceramic coating & wheel arch detail if you wish. It’s always fantastic to see a returning client & with such a lovely charriot to work on for him too, a nice few days at the office for me, as I do all the work on each car myself. As usual the wash prep was taken car of outside but with the weather being a tad cold in December I will pick up the pictures inside after the drying & paint readings. A variety of machines were used during the machine polishing (3 in total) to get the very best result for the client out of this stage of the detail. This 75mm Rupes big foot was perfect for the various curves & tighter areas around the vehicle. I also used the Rupes Ibrid & Flex VRG for the larger panels. The Rupes Ibrid put to good use in the engine bay, polishing that beautiful carbon fiber strut brace The machine polishing took up the vast majority of the first 2 days which is normal. The car was regularly dusted down & after the second stage was treated to Gtechniq panel wipe which prepares the paintwork perfectly for their coatings. In this case Gtechniq crystal serum light & ExoV3. Car is sitting pretty on the commercial grade scissor lift perfectly prepared for its coatings. Dusted, lint free, polishing oil free & ready to go with the coating. Crystal serum light is applied first which then cures over night while I tend to other things around the car. Gtechniq G1 for the exterior glass. Gtechniq C5 wheel armour & its lovely little microfibre applicator. This is an excellent high temperature coating which is perfect for alloys & tail pipes, plus back boxes too ! Tail pipes/back box cleaned & coated in C5. I returned to this section for more work on the plastics/tyres etc after the coatings were completed. Coating the front number plate plinth in Gtechniq C4 long lasting trim dressing. BMW M140 Gyeon Quartz, Premier new car detail. Finished with Gyeon Quartz MOHS+ (5 year warranty). This stunning Sunset Orange BMW M140i Shadow Edition, came to me from a long standing client who’s various cars I’ve been detailing since roughly 2010. Ever since I’ve stopped working mobile & detailed from my unit only they have kindly brought the cars over for the work to be carried out. This time the job was a Premier new car detail  which is carried out over 3 days & included ceramic coating to paintwork, alloys, trim. Full interior detail with leather protection, fabric guard to mats & engine bay detail too. Wash stage: Lets start outside where the jack was put to good use, as the wheels were not being removed on this car (there is an option for this to be added to the detail if you wish) I wanted to give the wheel arch area as good a clean as possible. Using the BMW jacking points I took the car up a little so I could access more than if the wheel was on the ground. A thorough jet wash & various brushes plus APC (all purpose cleaner)  was used on the arches all around the vehicle. The alloys were also cleaned at this stage (wheel cleaner, de-iron, de-tar & tyres cleaned too) Engine Bay: The engine bay was given an initial clean while outside, jet wash set to very low pressure & rinsed taking into consideration any vulnerable parts, APC once again used along with detailing brushes. This was rinsed again & given an initial dry. I would re-visit the engine bay later in the detail for more cleaning & to dress. The was car treated to the usual safe wash process while outside: Pre wash, 2 buckets wash, de-iron, de-tar, clay blow dried, door shuts etc & not necessarily in order. Drying: Inside & on the vehicle lift, I made a start on the blow drying working on the alloys plus surrounding areas Once the entire vehicle was dried, the paintwork was inspected & paint readings were taken, even on a new car ! Polishing: The car received a 2 stage polishing program. Even a brand new will require machine work to get it to its best for you. Some areas required more than others, which is common. The Rupes Mini Bigfoot put to good use on the flared parts of the car, where the 75mm head fits perfectly. Even the lights were polished. Also the gloss black trim, everything ! The vast majority of the first 2 days are spent on the paintwork preparing it for the ceramic coating of choice, which is included in the Premier new...

Porsche 991 C2S Gyeon Quartz Paint Correction Detail. This lovely 6 year old Porsche 991 Carerra C2S was purchased by a returning client who wanted to take some of the years off the car & make it look spectacular once again. No problem I said & we settled on a 3 day minor paint correction detail with ceramic coating application, Gyeon Quartz MOHS+. He had this applied on the other vehicle I detailed 2 years ago & was very impressed with it, so this time round it was an easy choice to make. The paint correction detail is carried out over 3+ days & includes a 2 stage machine polishing routine, to remove swirls marks & restore clarity to the clear coat. The safe wash routine was carried out, car blow dried & after inspecting the paintwork with various light sources plus taking paint readings with the Positector paint gauge, I did some testing to find the right combination for this car. As you can see below it was working very well, also polishing right up the edges is important for an excellent job. This is after the initial cutting stage & yet to be refined. Machine polishing: Working on the tighter areas around the car with care for the panel edges on adjacent panels, which is easily done with 3M masking tape. Looking very nice after the first stage. At the end of day 2 the first stage was completed on everything except the bumpers which would be taken care of the following morning. Then onto stage 2, refining. Making progress: First, I need to take off some old polish residue from someone elses previous polishing attempts. Intricate areas: Cleaned Taped & polished Trim dressing: Cleaned of any polishing oils & then treated to a long life trim dressing, Gyeon Quartz Q² Trim. Getting the most out of these small areas the commercial grade lift I use really comes into its own for this type of work. After the refining stage was completed, it was time to clean the paintwork & apply the base coats. Gyeon Prep is an excellent cleaner designed specifically for Gyeon Quartz coatings ensuring a polishing oil free surface allowing correct bonding of the coating for maximum durability. You can also see my hand held LED light source which is used to check each panel after application. Audi TTRS Gyeon Quartz Premier new car detail + wheels off detail, This stunning Audi TTRS Roadster came to me for my top Gyeon Quartz new car detail along with the option of having the wheels removed & having them coated in Gyeon Rim which is a high temperature ceramic coating for alloy wheels. Completion time on this detail was 4 days &  what a great 4 days they were too. I really enjoyed this detail, the car, the sound from that engine & that colour ! Plus getting to weave some magic for a new client was fantastic Lets start the pictures inside after the wash prep’ as it was throwing it down while I was outside unfortunately. The car was treated to the usual safe wash practises & I also removed the alloys to clean them while outside. Even on a new car with 700 miles on the clock I wanted to give the wheel arches a good clean prior to taking the wheels off in the unit later. Inside the car was put on the lift, blow dried & paint inspected Starting with the roof, the car was covered with 3M bodyshop film to protect it from any oversparay from the Gyeon Fabric guard application, this was applied in 2 coats. As it was drying I started on the machine polishing first the bonnet. Making some room for myself: The film is statically charged & hugs the paintwork for a nice fit, allowing me to work around it without the worry of it moving about.  This would be changed on day 2 to protect the roof from polish dust while I work worked around the car. Intricate area polishing: Working on the tighter areas with a small Rupes dual action polisher, very handy tool. The blue tape is to protect the edges Some areas were too small & had to be done by hand Brand new cloth & a little patients ! The alloys & calipers were polished too then Gyeon Rim applied to all areas, hubs, calipers & entire alloy wheel Wooring on the wheels & Calipers: Ceramic coatings: Gyeon Rim being high temp’ can also be used on tail pipes, works perfectly on these painted pipes The choice for paint protection was Gyeon Quartz MOHS+ this is applied in 3 stages, 2 base coats which cure over night then “Phobic” top coat the following morning, this comes with a limited 5 year warranty on new cars I always check everything with an LED light source as a final check, paintwork, glass, alloys, everything just to be sure Gyeon View is an excellent rain repellant Buffs off to an invisible coating after a short curing...

Porsche 991 C4S in Lava Orange. 2.5 day new car detail, Gyeon Quartz MOHS+ application A very good client of mine who I have been detailing for, for about 6 years now called me to book in his upcoming purchase, a very tasty Porsche 991 C4S in Lava Orange What a colour combination ! We talked through his requirements & settled on a new car detail with the addition of an extra day for the paintwork, ceramic coating in the form of Gyeon Quartz MOHS+ & interior. The detail was carried out over 2.5 days with the base coat being applied at the end of day 2 allowing it to cure over night at the unit & the top coat “Phobic” being applied the following morning. The interior was detailed too with fabric guard applied to the mats, leather treatment to include dye block application, trim cleaned & of course luggage area + engine compartment too. Ferrari 458 Italia spider, 4 day paint correction detail, Gtechniq crystal serum light, ExoV3 Ferrari 458 Spider in lovely Rosso red, a last generation for this car.  4 days were spent taking the whole car & especially the paintwork to the high standards the client demands. A 2 stage machine polishing process was carried out on the paintwork which really brought that red coachwork to life. Gtechniq’s Crystal serum light & ExoV3 coating was chosen for protection, it has excellent durability, beading & the added gloss is just a bonus. Wheels were treated to Swissvax Autobahn & tyres to Gtechniq T1. A full interior detail was carried out with leather treatment & dye block application, Swissvax wood polish for the carbon fibre in the cockpit & seat backs. It is an excellent cleaner wax especially designed for interiors. Engine bay was sympathetically cleaned, dressed after the grills were removed & cleaned too. 4 days were spent taking the Ferrari 458 spider to the condition the owner & I was happy with, the pictures really do not do the car justice. This beautiful BMW touring came to me after an initial new car detail at another local detailers place, to say the owner was disappointed was an understatement. We had a long chat on the phone & to take the car to his standard we settled on a Premier new car detail with the addition of an extra days machine polishing for the paintwork. 4 days were spent taking the car to as a new car should look with the application of Gyeon Quartz MOHS+ for the paintwork, Gyeon Rim for the alloys plus a host of other top of the range products around the car including the interior which was fabulous ! Audi RS3, Nardo Grey, 2.5 day new car detail, Gyeon Quartz MOHS+. I detailed the owners wife’s Mini last year as a new car & when the time came for his new car he had no hesitation getting in touch to talk though his requirements for this little beauty. The list lookes like: Exterior new car detail Addition of an extra day machine polishing Gyeon Quartz MOHS+ Swissvax AutoBahn Nanolex Ultra Glass Gtechniq T1 Make the car look fantastic & take some photographs No problem ! You might ask, why add an extra day of machine polishing to a brand new car ? Good question, unfortunately even a brand new car comes with defects & this extra time getting the car just right, really makes a massive difference to the overall finish even on a brand new car. That at our request the dealership valeters did not touch (this is also a massive help for the best possible start for your brand new car) Outside the car was treated to a multi stage wash routine, which takes on average 2.5 to 3 hours, it was then brought into the unit to be blow dried & inspected. Lets have a look at what I found inside the unit. A perfect example of factory defects, the patch you can see is the result of sanding down a defect in the paint (probably a nib) & not or badly machine polishing out the sanding marks after wards. Excellent they take the time to de-nib but not good, not taking care of the sanding marks after wards. Another sanding patch & you can also see swirls marks underneath. Plus there was minor swirling to most of the car too. As you can see not a good start to the lovely Audi RS3 but nothing a little bit of TLC won’t take care of. The car received a 2 stage machine polishing routine & as you can see by the images below it came out really nicely Don’t forget the gloss black part too Much better ! The car was coated with Gyeon MOHS+ in 2 stages, the first coating needs to cure inside in the dry over night prior to the top coat Phobic being applied the following day. All the other thighs on the list were taken care of plus a few of my own to top off  the detail & this is how the Lovely Nardo Grey Audi RS3 looked under the unit lights when complete. When a client from 9 years ago called & asked if I’d like to detail his Bugatti Veyron ? Of course I say yes ! Always great to see an old client & even better with such a rare beauty as a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 in fantastic condition. He regularly drives the car so we settled on a 3 day all round detail & 2 stage machine polishing routine to the paintwork & to top it all off, application of one of the best waxes in the world costing £8,000. Only the best for the best ! The car went through the usual multi stage wash routine outside, brought in the owners garage & what a nice place to be too. Paint reading were taken around the car & that perfect paintwork only blighted by the scratches. You can even see the carbon fibre weave through the paint, amazing Paint inspection: Noting too drastic but definitely detracting from the supercars appearance. After some testing I settled on my 2 stage combination which as you can see by the results below worked really well. A selection of after machine polishing shots prior to the high grade carnauba wax being applied. The interior was treated to a full detail, with leather treatment & sympathetic cleaning of the metal work plus steering wheel   Wax applied, wheel sealed, tyres dressed etc & the 1001 BHP beauty now looks like this:   Bugatti Veyron, 3 day paint correction detail & my first £1,000,000 supercar detail completed. Bentley Continental GT, 4 day paint correction detail This beautiful Bentley was a referral from a previous client & the new owner wanted his lovely new Bentley bringing back to life. 4 days were spent lovingly removing defects from the paintwork, rejuvenating the interior & gently cleaning the engine bay for an excellent all round correction detail. After the initial wash prep outside the unit & blow dry the paintwork was inspected with the 3M Sungun & paint readings taken with a Positector Under the units LED lighting, lots of swirls Paint readings: After a little machine polishing testing to find the right combination for this job. The Bentley received a 2 stage routine. 50:50 Definitely the right combination. Then it was a case of putting in the hours with the various machines working around the car. After stage 2:   Looking much better. A high grade carnauba wax was applied to the paintwork, alloy wheels sealed & all the other finishing touches to make the car complete were taken care of.
