Porsche 991 C4S

Porsche 991 C4S in Lava Orange. 2.5 day new car detail, Gyeon Quartz MOHS+ application A very good client of mine who I have been detailing for, for about 6 years now called me to book in his upcoming purchase, a very tasty Porsche 991 C4S in Lava Orange What a colour combination ! We talked through his requirements & settled on a new car detail with the addition of an extra day for the paintwork, ceramic coating in the form of Gyeon Quartz MOHS+ & interior. The detail was carried out over 2.5 days with the base coat being applied at the end of day 2 allowing it to cure over night at the unit & the top coat “Phobic” being applied the following morning. The interior was detailed too with fabric guard applied to the mats, leather treatment to include dye block application, trim cleaned & of course luggage area + engine compartment too. The colour looked fantastic under the lights at the unit the pictures really do not do the car justice but the owner & his wife were very happy clients which is the main thing. Fantastic couple of days at the office working on one of Stuttgart’s finest for a very nice couple   There we have it, Porsche 991 C4S in stunning Lava Orange, new car detail carried out over 2.5 days protected with Gyeon Quartz...

Ferrari 458 Italia Spider

Ferrari 458 Italia spider, 4 day paint correction detail, Gtechniq crystal serum light, ExoV3 Ferrari 458 Spider in lovely Rosso red, a last generation for this car.  4 days were spent taking the whole car & especially the paintwork to the high standards the client demands. A 2 stage machine polishing process was carried out on the paintwork which really brought that red coachwork to life. Gtechniq’s Crystal serum light & ExoV3 coating was chosen for protection, it has excellent durability, beading & the added gloss is just a bonus. Wheels were treated to Swissvax Autobahn & tyres to Gtechniq T1. A full interior detail was carried out with leather treatment & dye block application, Swissvax wood polish for the carbon fibre in the cockpit & seat backs. It is an excellent cleaner wax especially designed for interiors. Engine bay was sympathetically cleaned, dressed after the grills were removed & cleaned too. 4 days were spent taking the Ferrari 458 spider to the condition the owner & I was happy with, the pictures really do not do the car justice. BMW 335D Touring

BMW touring in Tanzanite blue. Premier new car detail + an additional day of machine polishing. This beautiful BMW touring came to me after an initial new car detail at another local detailers place, to say the owner was disappointed was an understatement. We had a long chat on the phone & to take the car to his standard we settled on a Premier new car detail with the addition of an extra days machine polishing for the paintwork. 4 days were spent taking the car to as a new car should look with the application of Gyeon Quartz MOHS+ for the paintwork, Gyeon Rim for the alloys plus a host of other top of the range products around the car including the interior which was fabulous ! Also the engine bay too. Looking after the alloys post cleaning, blow drying & treatment: Interior complete: Engine bay complete: Paint work machine polished, with a 2 stage process: Ceramic coating applied to the paintwork & looking like it should now The owner who has had 2 other cars detailed in the past commented, that they have never looked like this. Also “A customer for life” he said to me in an email, fantastic ! A lovely car to work on & the colour certain came to life which made all the hard work worth it, beautiful car & really nice owner, it was a real pleasure to work on the car for him & put some faith back into detailers in his mind, a good day at the office this...

Audi RS3

Audi RS3, Nardo Grey, 2.5 day new car detail, Gyeon Quartz MOHS+. I detailed the owners wife’s Mini last year as a new car & when the time came for his new car he had no hesitation getting in touch to talk though his requirements for this little beauty. The list lookes like: Exterior new car detail Addition of an extra day machine polishing Gyeon Quartz MOHS+ Swissvax AutoBahn Nanolex Ultra Glass Gtechniq T1 Make the car look fantastic & take some photographs No problem ! You might ask, why add an extra day of machine polishing to a brand new car ? Good question, unfortunately even a brand new car comes with defects & this extra time getting the car just right, really makes a massive difference to the overall finish even on a brand new car. That at our request the dealership valeters did not touch (this is also a massive help for the best possible start for your brand new car) Outside the car was treated to a multi stage wash routine, which takes on average 2.5 to 3 hours, it was then brought into the unit to be blow dried & inspected. Lets have a look at what I found inside the unit. A perfect example of factory defects, the patch you can see is the result of sanding down a defect in the paint (probably a nib) & not or badly machine polishing out the sanding marks after wards. Excellent they take the time to de-nib but not good, not taking care of the sanding marks after wards. Another sanding patch & you can also see swirls marks underneath. Plus there was minor swirling to most of the car too. As you can see not a good start to the lovely Audi RS3 but nothing a little bit of TLC won’t take care of. The car received a 2 stage machine polishing routine & as you can see by the images below it came out really nicely Don’t forget the gloss black part too Much better ! The car was coated with Gyeon MOHS+ in 2 stages, the first coating needs to cure inside in the dry over night prior to the top coat Phobic being applied the following day. All the other thighs on the list were taken care of plus a few of my own to top off  the detail & this is how the Lovely Nardo Grey Audi RS3 looked under the unit lights when complete. There we have it 2.5 day exterior new car detail, the car now looks as it should, it’s very well protected & most importantly the owner was extremely happy with the final result, which of course is the main...

Bugatti Veyron

When a client from 9 years ago called & asked if I’d like to detail his Bugatti Veyron ? Of course I say yes ! Always great to see an old client & even better with such a rare beauty as a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 in fantastic condition. He regularly drives the car so we settled on a 3 day all round detail & 2 stage machine polishing routine to the paintwork & to top it all off, application of one of the best waxes in the world costing £8,000. Only the best for the best ! The car went through the usual multi stage wash routine outside, brought in the owners garage & what a nice place to be too. Paint reading were taken around the car & that perfect paintwork only blighted by the scratches. You can even see the carbon fibre weave through the paint, amazing Paint inspection: Noting too drastic but definitely detracting from the supercars appearance. After some testing I settled on my 2 stage combination which as you can see by the results below worked really well. A selection of after machine polishing shots prior to the high grade carnauba wax being applied. The interior was treated to a full detail, with leather treatment & sympathetic cleaning of the metal work plus steering wheel   Wax applied, wheel sealed, tyres dressed etc & the 1001 BHP beauty now looks like this:   Bugatti Veyron, 3 day paint correction detail & my first £1,000,000 supercar detail completed. What an awesome machine & a most enjoyable 3 days working on...

Bentley Continental GT

Bentley Continental GT, 4 day paint correction detail This beautiful Bentley was a referral from a previous client & the new owner wanted his lovely new Bentley bringing back to life. 4 days were spent lovingly removing defects from the paintwork, rejuvenating the interior & gently cleaning the engine bay for an excellent all round correction detail. After the initial wash prep outside the unit & blow dry the paintwork was inspected with the 3M Sungun & paint readings taken with a Positector Under the units LED lighting, lots of swirls Paint readings: After a little machine polishing testing to find the right combination for this job. The Bentley received a 2 stage routine. 50:50 Definitely the right combination. Then it was a case of putting in the hours with the various machines working around the car. After stage 2:   Looking much better. A high grade carnauba wax was applied to the paintwork, alloy wheels sealed & all the other finishing touches to make the car complete were taken care of. Porsche 997 C4S Cabriolet

Porsche 997 C4S Cabriolet, 4 day paint correction detail an old client of mine contacted me about his new weekend car to discuss an assessment of the vehicle, no problem I said & we set a date. After a thorough inspection & good talk with the gent we settled on a 4 days exterior detail with minor wet sanding to localised areas to remove some extra orange peel which detracted from the overall excellent condition of the Porsche. The time scale sounds large but the work to be carried out was to fill the 4 days & run over into a fifth. The owner agreed to me shooting a video of the detail which I have published below a selection of photo’s below. This is a “before” shot of the localised orange peel to the lower wing, you can see by the reflection of the Halide light on the right. A 2 stage wet sand process was carried out followed by a 2 stage machine polishing routine to leave a much more even appearance of the clear coat to match the rest of the cars paintwork   “During” 50:50 There is more of this process in the video. An “after” shot of drivers door at the end of the detail The video is available in 1080p HD press play & choose 1080 or click on the youtube button & this will take you to a large version on YouTube.   There we have it Porsche 997 C4S major 4 day detail & the owner was extremely happy with the transformation of his lovely...

Porsche 991 C2 2 day enhancement

Porsche 991 C2, enhancement detail When a regular client asked me to breath some life into his new purchase, a rather nice Basalt Black Porsche 991 C2, I of course said no problem. Not in a terrible state but in need of a some tlc & good session with the machine polisher to bring back to life the metallic paintwork. The usual safe wash process was carried out by myself outside the unit. Once dried & inside paint depth readings were taken & sensitive areas taped up. Let’s have a look at that lovely Porsche paint work under the 3M Sungun Not the worst paintwork I have seen but definitely in need of a 2 stage machine polish. I carried out a 2 stage machine polish routine first was to cut the defects safely out & the second was to refine the finish for a beautiful gloss & mirror like finish. Let’s have a look after stage 2 Before: After: all finished after the detail Porsche 991 C2 Basalt Black, now looking as it should, hard to beat a shiny, freshly detailed Porsche. always a pleasure working on one of Stuttgart’s finest...

Lotus Exige LF1 New Car Detail

Lotus Exige LF1, new car detail I first detailed this clients other Lotus Elise 2 years ago, now he has purchased a new Lotus & what a stunning LF1 it is too ! He kindly brought it to the unit based the Midlands for detailing once again. A Full exterior detail comprising of safe wash routine with 2 bucket method, citrus pre clean, tar removal, clay & single stage machine polish plus a host of other tiny jobs around the cat that makes up the wash process. The paintwork was sealed with Gyeon Can Coat which is a very nice aerosol Si02 coating, alloys were sealed with a wheel sealant, tyres dressed & exhaust polished. As the car had been on a trackday prior to coming to me I freshened up the protective film on the front end too + a few other small things to bring the detail all together. Unfortunately just a small section of final photographs on this detail, I was pressed for time & simply didn’t have enough spare time during the day for a full process pictures but could not resist a few minutes with the camera on this beauty at the end Lotus Exige LF1. Such a stunning car, Lotus really hit the nail on the head with the limited edition ! Gorgeous car & even though a hard days work, it’s always a pleasure working on a car like this & great to see another returning...

Mini John Cooper Works 4 day correction detail

Mini John Cooper Works 4 day correction detail, an old client who I’ve been dealing with for almost 5 years now called to book his new Mini JCW in for a correction detail saying it was in a bit of a state, no problem I said ! A date was booked & he dropped the little Red lovely at my unit in early January. As I had extra time with this lovely car (the owner was on holiday) I took advantage & shot another video, available in 1080p HD & on my YouTube channel by clicking the link in the top left corner   The usual safe wash prep was carried out & once clean & inside the warm unit I inspected the paintwork with the 3M Sungun Lets have a look at what I found In need of some serious TLC. I tested various pads & polished to ensure safe defect removal & while not removing too much paint, settled on a very good combination & set to work machine polishing the paintwork A selection of during machine polishing photographs before: During: passenger door 50:50 Rear quarter 50:50 Finally after around 40 hours of work, some finished paintwork shots As you can see a huge difference & now the solid red paintwork looks deep & fantastic. The car was finished with a very expensive high grade carnauba wax called Vintage which is the owners favourite Now onto a few full car finished shots Mini John Cooper Works 4 day correction detail completed & the owner once again was extremely happy with his new car & I’ll be seeing it again later in the year for a top up...
